I voted Tory for the forst time in 2019, but will probably not do so again in 2024, given that it is difficult to see the present Tories as conservative. Given that you are (were) a commedian, you are incredibly serious, but perhaps that is at the heart of great commedy. Thanks for your writing. It is informative and entertaining, but also inspiring. I would definitely consider myself as a conservative rebel too then Nick, probably along with pretty much all the people I know around here where I live, perhaps like you wrote, Conservatism is passed down to us working class types, as I don't know a single woke, hard left, flag lover haha.
I have begun watching Roger Scruton videos on Youtube, for some reason I had assumed he was around like a hundred years ago or something, yeah some good talks he has, a very good one with Douglas Murray I watched the other day.
Ha no, sadly died in 2020. I always wonder what effect being thrown under the bus by fake conservatives (Mercer, Brokenshire, and Tugendhat) had on his health.

Yeah thought I'd just share this piece in case people missed it. A new film piece coming out tomorrow for members, then perhaps something on whether 'globalist' is a naughty word, but that takes more research.
I don't know what the hell is going on with that globalist thing, all I see is Josh Howie saying it is but everyone else is saying it's not haha. I know Josh is Jewish so I understand he has more skin in the game, so to speak. Though Simon Evans was arguing against him on Headliners the other day. So yeah, I don't know. Probably affects me nowt, haha.
