‘Obscene flashpoint’ - perfect choice of words.

Exactly.

I genuinely think that most are the "live and let live" type, where what goes on behind closed doors between consenting adults is nobody else's business.

I have good friends in the LGBT??? community, and have no problem whatsoever with schools pointing out to little kids that some families have two mummies, some have two daddies, etc.

The "obscene flashpoint" for me is the blatant sexualisation of conveying this "diversity" to children.

If any bloke wants to live his life as a female, I couldn't care less. If he/she then wants to read stories to little kids in a library, no worries.

However

When I see middle aged blokes dressed like they've just come from the stage of a Soho strip club, shaking their nether regions in the faces of pre-school aged kids, I begin to wonder who's getting the most out of it.

Kids learning about diversity, or a fetishist getting his/her sexual rocks off?

Enough.

The reason you’re not sure if my ‘job description’ is that I’m unemployable Nick ;). Fortunately I’ve got involvement in various businesses (‘profits beat Wages’). As to Mammy Nicola, not a yuge fan I’ll be honest. I’m more an Alba kind of nationalist 😅😂.

Not a fan of Adolf Sturgeon.

Kinda with you on Alba, but the SNP (Murrell/Sturgeon) have gone hell for leather on destroying Alexander Elliot Anderson Salmond - understandable from their personal perspective.

Salmond's not quite 70 but pushing towards it, and I suspect he knows that while he's got some influence his best days are behind him.

What politician in Scotland has any stature? I honestly cannot think of one. Maybe Ruth Davidson, but I really doubt she's up for the fight. Can't think of one other person in the whole of the Scottish political landscape - which is really pretty dreadful. If you have a name, let me know.

Warming to you Thor...

A giant of a country ruled by political Pygmies my friend. You’re correct. Alba are the only party in scotland (the uk?) to be anti nuclear escalation/anti NATO war mongers. So I do support ALBA actually. In some ways they are a sane voice crying in the wilderness. They’re also believers that a woman is a woman. Unlike so called conservatives. And while I have zero issues with (over 21) trans folks, I do have a massive issue with kid self ID and NATO war crap. Feel free to connect with me via LinkedIn, ‘Screen- Master’.

It is an exceptional human being who can hold power for as long as she has and not be corrupted by it. Someone as all consumed by hatred as Sturgeon was never going to be that person and hubris has brought nemesis.

"Could Sturgeon’s Trans Fiasco Be Woke’s Berlin Wall Moment?"

In one single word: YES!

Bit of a rant below – apologies in advance…

Just back home from an evening out with friends in Glasgow City Centre and, believe me, it is all that people are talking about...

Sturgeon is toast and the multitude of Scottish SPADs in Edinburgh are running around updating their CVs. Sturgeon has destroyed the SNP – or, as I like to call them, the Scottish Benefits Party.

From a personal perspective, the destruction of the SNP can only be good for Scotland. Never read a Harry Potter book and never watched any of the films, but I am so with JKR on this…Sturgeon should be prosecuted!!!

People on State Benefit in Scotland vote SNP because they get higher benefits than others in the UK and taxpayers in Scotland pay way more tax than taxpayers in the rest of the UK. If you are unemployed or retiring, then come to Scotland – you will have a great life and Scottish taxpayers get hammered.

How on earth did a Conservative Government enable a devolved Socialist Assembly to increase tax to the absurd rates that are now levied in Scotland.

IMHO it is a shocking disgrace. Why would anyone in Scotland vote for the Conservative Party. Totally perplexed…

See below link – long read, but you will shudder, as is everyone in Scotland, and you will not see this on MSM:

Frankly, I think I would be better off in Russia...the Scottish Parliament is a disgrace, the List System is a disgrace, and there is no governance in Scotland..Not a chance of me ever voting for the Conservative Party again...the Conservative Party has destroyed Scotland...

Scottish Parliamentary elections take place every 5 years. The next election will be held in 2026.

Within the Scottish Parliament there are 129 elected members (MSPs) - 73 Constituency Members and 56 Regional Members.

Elections to the Scottish Parliament are carried out using the Additional Member Voting system. This voting system combines the traditional First Past the Post system (FPP) and Proportional Representation (PR).

Voters have 2 votes in these elections.

The first vote is to elect a person to be their Constituency Member. The person who wins the most votes using the FPP voting system becomes the Constituency Member.

The second vote is to elect Regional representatives. Voters can select a political party or an individual candidate (if there are any standing) for a seat in a Scottish Parliament Region.

There are 7 MSPs for each of the 8 Scottish Parliament Regions. Candidates or parties are elected using a PR voting system and are called 'List' MSPs.

Unelected "List" MSPs are called Regional MSPs - in other words, jobs for the boys and girls. Read it and weep...

Two things have captured Sturgeon and the cabal around her, both SNP mp's and the civil servants, first are the six figure salaries they enjoy. They couldn't care less about independence and haven't done so for years. Second is identity politics. In the 1970s and 80s we used to call them the Tartan Tories. Under Salmon they repositioned themselves to the left of Labour, not to difficult with Blair in charge, and reaped the electoral benefits.

The nettle of PoMo needs to be grasped - it is based on: They lie to us, we know they're lying, they know we know they're lying, but they keep lying to us... The point of the lies is the imposition of power - by forcing on society of obvious falsehoods it demonstrates the ability to be mendacious and demonstrate power to suppress voices against it. The PoMo Woke are distinguished from their Marxist forebears in that they have weaponised culture and compassion in order to do this (#BeKind) - it is a feature not a bug that none of this maps to reality but it is a high wire act of an Emperor that has no pants - they hate comedy because in telling the truth that "I can see your junk" Emperor punctures the exercise of power, which is why their dander is always up. Only a Zero toleration approach to Woke works and few are willing to stick out their neck. They rely on this. The corruption of children should be seen in the same light - if you tolerate this the children are actually now, being sterilised and castrated - the keep is breeched they are shitting in your bedroom.
