DEI Is So Much Worse Than You Think
Despite all the talk about Jason Arday, I still don’t think people realise the scale of the atrocity that is DEI.
While the focus is on Arday himself, and whether he’s a nasty conman, a ruthless opportunist, or a hapless idiot, we miss the real issue, which is the millions of lives destroyed by DEI, and the fact that it will, along with wokeness in general, ultimately destroy the West if not absolutely obliterated once and for all.
Not only has DEI pushed an entire group (white men below a certain age) to the edges of society, it is now getting people like Henry Nowak killed. Nowak was a clear victim of DEI practices in the police, whose prevalence and insanity has recently been exposed by the Telegraph.
Beyond that, we will never know how many children were never born because a white man banished by DEI couldn’t afford to start a family (in case you missed it, see Jacob Savage’s article on the devastating effects of DEI on white millennial men).
And make no mistake, this is what the architects of DEI want. The explicit goal is to take the group we’re told was at the top, and force them by any means to the bottom. If they kill themselves, or are killed by police policies, so much the better (‘What did y’all think decolonization meant?’ etc).
But of course it’s not just individual lives being destroyed. DEI has destroyed entire industries and even entire art forms, potentially forever.
There’s no sign that literature, for example, is coming back from the assault of DEI and related phenomena, which include ideological impositions upon content, sensitivity readers, and the general incompetence of the new agents and publishers.
Older authors like Ian McEwan and Don DeLillo still publish, but they are like the last Elvish kings whose ilk will never be seen again.
In an interview with Channel 4 last year, when asked whether the right or left was a bigger threat to free speech, McEwan said ‘The left stuff is sort of annoying and trivial, and it’s only a portion of the left’, then quickly switched to rambling about Donald Trump and climate change.
We see this kind of thing all the time. Partly because writers and people in the arts tend to be on the left, partly due to fear and the instinct for self-preservation, and no doubt also because older white men have been largely unaffected by DEI, which oddly was only applied to Millennials and younger, while these boomer cash cows were apparently too valuable to be put out to pasture.
