Beautiful. Superb.

We live our life forwards, but review our life backwards.

Now, in later life, the pinpricks of significance of the astringent events of earlier life still find a way to smuggle themselves into the random thoughts and quotidian events of the everyday, still find a way to breech the impermeable walls of memory, quite uninvited.

I conclude that attempting to wrangle time and space is a task best granted to either Marcel Proust, L. P. Hartley or Albert Einstein.

Love, love, love this analysis, Nick! Thoughtful analysis makes me want to reflect on books I've revisited, and revisit those I haven't.

Thanks!
