Very sad about Weekly Sceptic, joining as a 'refugee' now, but hopefully this will give us the weekly news banter that we crave. That is, until all dissent against Sir Eeyore Starmer is outlawed. The one thing that that left hates more than being hated is being mocked, so keep up the good work.

Yes, really enjoying this format also. Well done, I think the idea of a live show would be a big hit too, especially if you had a good comic with whom to co-present.

Book up the Hippodrome and we will come.

Loving this new format for The Current Thing! Feels like a much fresher version of the show and very engaging. Top notch production too!

Loved the show- and also loved some of the comments below but wasn't able to click 'like'. So for anyone reading- I like all your comments!

As a refugee from WS, I'm pleased that you're carrying on with the current issues as I have felt that there is nowhere else to go and Triggernometry is becoming a bit KK dissing everyone who doesn't agree with him!

Very enjoyable, thought provoking but still funny. The hierarchy of extreme misogyny explained what I had previously found to be a rather baffling incident.

Great show Nick. Paul is such a lovely guy. Re the comment Carl made that Liam doesn’t really do anything - Noel said not long after they split “I’m no front man” and that’s the key. They both need each other.

On the subject of winking - oh the power of a wink. It used to make me go weak at the knees when a man winked at me. It doesn’t really happen anymore and that will be because it’s not really the done thing these days and definitely not because I’m older lol.

Gutted that WS is no more but totally understand your reasons. I won’t be able to come to any live shows as I live up north/work full time etc but will continue to support you in whatever you do.

Glad I went to the last Weekly Sceptic live podcast. Hoping there's going to be a live Current Thing in the offing.
