Sounds like Carl is a Christian Atheist - one who walks in His footsteps is in fact more truly Christian to me than someone who hides behind the badge of the cross and is not in any way virtuous (Whelby I might be looking at you) even though that they do not know that that believe in got He believes in Carl so yes it is not a paradox to be an Atheist Christian as it works any way around
Hi Nick, just listened to Carl Benjamin on your podcast and liked what I heard about working in the framework of "Relativism" to push back rather than trying to unpick it all and wind back the clock. For many years I have taken exactly the small view of the Human Rights movement. Which is the subject of my own substack 'article29.substack.com'. He said he was looking for suggestions and support and I thought he might be interested so if you could pass this on (I'm not on twitter). I'd also be grateful if you could take a look at my substack and feedback and if its any good post a few recommendations. Most of my social circle are not remotely interested so would be great if you could drum up some trade. I have paused my daily sceptic so I can use my meagre funds to support your substack, but pretty much admire all the stuff you do (apart from worshipping Tate), Keep up the good works
