I really wish I had gone to this, though it's far away, I would have loved to have met these people and listened to the talks. Maybe next year I'll pluck the courage to get out and go. I'm absolutely useless when it comes to planning and actually doing something though haha
That James Bembridge looks like Nathan Barley there yeah haha
It was good to chat with you for a little while at this - and it is a great even with the binding force the new dimension of politics which is liberty vs authoritarianism with the former being the good guys - I call the latter the Neo-Leftists and are progressive much as cancer is. A anti-authoritarian stance unites the more trad left, the likes of Josh Howie and Sageela, and the politically ambiguous Lewis, people I also got to meet. I wanted to say to Linnehan that for one episode of IT crowd most writers would give a right arm to have been involved in that (I know as I write a bit) and then to have produced Black Books, FT etc etc on top of IT - it is tragic such a comedy force is no longer 100% dedicated to that cause (a bitter pill you know too well) but Andy the chair of that session who promised to keep coming to me next never did and I frequently chat with him at BackYard (can one never get favouritism)! Lewis even remembered me when I did his open mic, which is impressive as I am a nobody. Paul Y.

It was my first time going to this festival, thoroughly enjoyed it. You were brilliant, I'm still sceptical about dating apps though...
Thanks! Haha me too.
