Finally catching up again Nick, bouts of absence abound.
I thought you were Christian and recall you had embarked upon reading the Bible with encouragement from Jamie.
I am not sure there is one type of Christian as long as you have accepted Jesus as into your heart as Lord and Saviour, God will do the rest.m; that’s the deep magic that Aslan knows, as he accepts willingly his humiliation and sacrifice on the alter to pay the ultimate price.
We tamper with C S Lewis’s stories at our peril for we in turn tamper with the connection to the world of spirit.
I shall not be watching Netflix but I will reread The Magian’s Nephew. Thank you for the warning. 🙏
Yes, I put it like that for two reasons. One I don’t want to claim I’m a great Christian when I don’t go to church etc. Two my books channel is apolitical and I didn’t want people to dismiss it as a purely Christian perspective, because there are many other reasons not to ruin Lewis’s work.
Of course I just told the truth, but may not have bothered with that emphasis on a different forum.
Join the dots and you don’t need to understand anything more about why Netflix hates original European and Occidental culture be it Logos or original text and why it is vandalising it and violating it.
