Nice work Nick. As a suggestion, can you get Tobias Elwood on? That way you can ask him about spying on Britons, as a Lieutenant Colonel in the 77th Brigade; then ask what he is doing to stop himself spying on Britons, as Chair of the Defence Select Committee.

Excellent podcast, Bridgen is very brave, must be quite lonely in the multi-party but one dimensional House of Commons. A collection of nodding dogs. I would definitely take care when crossing the road if I were him. Incidentally the original 77th Brigade were the Chindits who operated behind Japanese lines during WW2. The comparison with Ellwood et al, well....

Really like the innovation of interview format to your Substack and a further outlet for your _casting skills as Headliners goes from strength to strength to as well as your work with Toby + Carl (how you fitting it all in?). Renegade voices like a true conservative in the Tory Party like Bridgen, who is taking care of business (in every sense) in his constituency is great and the kind of character that needs attracting over to a broad alliance of real conservatism that will need to replace the Tory careerist cabal for a genuine, what will likely be an opposition to a Starmer govt (to remind people of the disaster that were the 70s under socialism) - Godspeed to the efforts of Calvin Robinson in overcoming the egos of natural allies on the right (in the sense of people who are correct, in their politics not politically correct). Really enjoyed this podcast and what a revelation Bridgen turns out to be (if we can believe any politician 😂, nevertheless the election and council tax stats cannot lie).

I knew there was something in the past about this guy that had incurred the wrath of the righteous and it seems it was the largish role he played in Boris’ ouster and his support for Sunak. Whilst I was as disappointed with Boris as the next real conservative, what I found unforgivable was the kowtowing to the media and opposition’s hysterical cake-gate and Pincher (which was a huge nothing-burger imo) focus when he had secured their biggest majority in years. I was proud of Boris despite all the greenery and alphabet stuff, and like many other conservatives, am in no mood to forgive all the turkeys who rushed into voting for Christmas to appease the libs. I wish we had some conservatives with balls who would tell the media where to get off and the country some home truths.

Brilliant podcast, Nick. Andrew Bridgen, what a guy! Should be the next PM. The only question is, how will they get at him and silence him?

Off Topic Nick, but you'll love this.

And we think we have it band in the UK...The Americans are equally, if not more, bonkers...Who on earth is coming up with these insane laws and how are they getting these bonkers ideas on to the statute books...I really do despair...
