Very well said indeed, as usual. Thank you!

I think what Steven Barrett would call ‘Loveliness’ is what is needed as ballast against the arrogance of those who wish to dissolve us and the way we live here. More pleases, more thanks, more holding open of doors, more countryside, more beloved dogs, more church and more sense.

These people are vile savages.

My reply to her would be “Fuck off”.

The problem with the world today is not enough people are told to fuck off.

Guy in a women’s changing room ? - fuck off.

Rapey Afghans arriving uninvited? - fuck off.

Black Vikings ? - fuck off.

The time for niceties is over.

Her next article " growing up in India I learned it was ok to take a shit in public, when will Britons incessant hygiene culture die out?"

I feel similarly about the Guardian, excepting I’m a free speech advocate!!!

My mother in law has a great saying, "Manners cost nothing". Of course the real meaning behind it is even if you're from a dirt poor working class background, you're not ignorant or stupid.

Please/thank you/sorry are the verbal oils that have kept our society running smoothly for generations.

You beat me to that reply! It came straight into my head as well, and seemingly small behavioural differences like this are in fact indicators of a chasm which Kemi Badenoch nailed with her statement about not all cultures being equal. And that article is Exhibit A.

If it were an English person saying this it would be bad enough. When did these foreigners decide they could insult our customs? If she doesn't have 'leave to remain' she'd be on the first boat back to the sub continent if it were up to me.

This is why we can’t have nice things.

What a nasty, mean-spirited article. I mean it must be hard for the guardian to know what to write about this week, as hardly anything is happening and every day has been a slow news day.

What an absolute sick joke of a rag the Guardian is.

Brilliant analysis. How dare she. I can't believe her article even got published in this country.

Thank-you for standing up for our culture Nick!

Sorted 👍audio quality needed to be lower. However it did not affect the quality of the content Nick.

Great piece.

I have an issue with my playback and you are speaking a different language Nick. I thought it was a bit of humour but no a straightforward fix. I will may have to resort to some serious kinetic action. I will try to get it sorted. and return:( Arigatou or possibly Pinyin.
